Sorry folks, no Black Comics post today. I'll make it up with a double-post this weekend.
In the meantime, this is an open thread to discuss your own favorite comics characters of color. So far, I've addressed Ron Troupe, Cloak, Chunk, Bloodwynd, and Alex Wilder. Who else should make the cut?

Well, I've always liked Robbie Robertson. There was that long-running thing going between him and Tombstone, that was always kind of cool.
Maybe Night Thrasher? He could use a little love, after the being blown up and all.
Hope you feel better soon, Tom!
Who I'd love to see:
* Skyrocket (from Power Company)
* Misty Knight
* Rocket (from Icon)
* Nubia (from Wonder Woman)
* Vykin (from Forever People)
* Tyroc (from Legion of Super-Heroes)
* Bumblebee
* Amazing Man
* Josiah X (from The Crew)
Calvin: Thanks for reminding me about Robbie Robertson. He's one of my favorite Spider-Man cast members, and somehow he never really even crossed my mind. Shows just how much he's been around in the last few years. There'll be at least a couple of Spider-Man characters coming up.
Loren: Well, I won't be hitting all of those (some I don't know well enough to do them justice, others I don't know at all), but I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
Star 2 from Savage Dragon maybe?
I second the Robbie and Night Thrasher love...
Who else? If you're going to Milestone, I always liked Wise Son and am still waiting for his mini-series. Or Static, the one character from the line to not only get his own cartoon, but to eventually join the Dini Justice League
Tom - Oh, I know I'll be pleasantly surprised in whomever you do profiles for. Anybody who starts with Ron Troupe, I know, has plenty of tricks up their sleeves! :)
It's probably just my bias towards all things JLI, but I always had a soft spot for Mister Miracle II, Shilo Norman.
Well, and Mr. Terrific, obviously. But that pretty much goes without saying.
I recently acquired a copy of Black Lightning #2. I thought he was pretty rad.
I haven't read many of his appearances, but I really like Mr. Terrific. Has anyone ever tried calling him Mr. T to his face? I'd love to see his reaction to that.
Mr. T's comic appearances are usually fun. Ridiculous, but fun.
Green Lantern extaordinaire, John Stewart of course.
How can we have gotten this far without mentioning Amanda Waller?
One nice thing about her is that, at least in terms of background and, er, girth, she's very true-to-life - a black woman, from the District of Columbia, career civil servant in the federal government. Walk through the offices of the various federal agencies and you'll meet hundreds of women who look like Amanda Waller.
Jeff,
I'm sure if some silly person were to call Mr. Terrific by that nickname, he would not get upset, or even dignify it with a response. No, he would simply pity the fool.
Amanda Waller reminds me - I liked Bronze Tiger a lot in Suicide Squad.
How about Judge Giant?
Not sure if you're limiting yourself to Marvel and DC characters, but Sabre was an underappreciated gem from Don McGregor who's worth a look.
How about Data from Thriller?
